We’re celebrating grapes this month at Seasonal Potluck! Grapes are actually a pretty versatile fruit. They can be eaten simply as a snack, turned into juice or jelly, and also baked into cakes and breads or roasted for a salad. You can also find grape seed flour and grape seed oil which is great for baking because it is flavorless. I’m excited for this month’s ingredient because it is giving me a reason to explore different uses for grapes! Now that baby is one month old (and I think I’m getting the hang of things!) I’m hoping I’ll be able to have the time to make some of the great recipes I’ve found.
Now is still the time for grape harvests in many parts of the world – so feel free to toast grape month with a glass of wine to celebrate while you’re cooking!
